He works in the field of earth systems science and advanced Pro-Am astronomy, and communicates extensively about science for a popular audience. The study of variable stars and asteroids, the planets and the moon are his most treasured pastimes devoted to the discovery and understanding of minor planetary bodies, stellar systems and of our solar system. One ultimate goal of this work is to serve as an inspiration to reach closer to the wonders of the universe.
