Nix Olympia visible opposite Mare Sirenum

This latest planetary image is the result of the best 12,000 images stacked together. It shows the surface albedo on Mars under not ideal sky conditions. Mars' surface is at approximately 180 degrees longitude. Nix Olympia can be seen at the lower left part of the image showing as a brighter spot.

The south pole is at the top. It is small but visible.  Most prominent is Mare Sirenum at latitude -30 degrees.

The subtle features Caralis Fretum and Ulixys Fretum are seen joining Mare Sirenum to Mare Chronium.

Daedelia is seen at longitude 120 degrees.

There is also a hint of atmospheric opaqueness on both limbs, suggesting the presence of atmospheric clouds.
