Colour infrared image of the gas giant Jupiter.

What is very interesting in this colour infrared image is the activity in the equatorial band, in the form of barges and festoons. Unfortunately seeing was very low, which made the acquisition of the usual RGB images unsuccessful. Overall, the dissemination of this image to international planetary archives is still valid.

Other images taken by international team of amateur astronomers are included HERE.
