These are my first ever CCD images I took of Jupiter using DMK21AU04 monochrome camera with IR block filter (top) and colour SPC9000 (bottom). The image using DMK was captured on August 20th 2011 at around 0345UT using IC Capture and processed with Registax 6. C8 f/25. Gain 726, 30fps, 40secs exposure.
I am still testing to find out optimal settings per colour channel.
Seeing conditions were a bit unstable with moments of good seeing. The moon seen on the left is Io.
Starting from the North (top):
Dark features on the NTeB and NNTeB are well visible on the F side. A number of ovals are visible within the NNTeZ and NPR.
The NEB is dark especially towards the side of the NTrZ. A small dark oval is seen on the F side in what it seems like a quiet region.
The EZ looks quite complex.
The SEB texture is very rich, especially in the North component.
A dark oval in the SSTeB is visible in this image located almost as the CM. A white oval in the SSTeZ is also conspicuous on the P side of the CM.
